All iPads New Tmobile iPad Plan

I travel overseas a lot. Does this mean we can now get free data and not have to roam or buy a SIM overseas? Also, why wouldn't people who live in US and move overseas just get a Tmobile plan?


Tmobile says: Additionally, postpaid customers who add a monthly Simple Choice tablet plan automatically get unlimited data to include more than 100 countries worldwide, at no extra charge.

Anybody now anything?

The plan has to be active in the US. If you are gone to long without any activity inside the US it will be closed. It's only 2g speed also.

I won't bite because of Tmobile's coverage area - or I should say, lack of it.

Not even 2G in some spots in my state.
