New to Apple, need some good free apps..

I came from Android and I need a alarm app to wake me up in the morning...

Need a good shopping list app...

Calendar app

Note taking app

Just throw out some good apps for Iphone (preferably free) that I can use.

The stock alarm app works well, I've used it for years.

For free apps, I use score center for sports, accuweather for the forecast, iTV for the TV guide, and its good to have a flashlight app too.

Not sure about your main requests though as I only use the stock notes/list apps.

The stock options for what you are trying to accomplish are pretty good. The alarm on the iphone has been waking me up for a couple years now. Their calender app and notes app work just fine as well. If it were me I would just use those. Anything else risks costing you a dollar.

Alarm clock: time tuner, which can wake you up with music and radio
Shopping/TODO list and note taking: Evernote is definitely the way to go, cross platform and powerful. For improved mobile performance, use QEver.
Calendar app, I'm not quite sure; I just use Apple's calendar.

News: News360, good free news app.
Internet Radio: Tunein radio, great radio for free
GPS: Waze. Awesome turn bu turn navigation.
