Take off watch, stop running any workout, and shake it vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. It should increment step count and activity circle. If it doesn't, I'd try restarting the watch, then resetting it. If it still doesn't register movement, there could be something wrong with the motion sensor.

i do what you mention, the ring doesnt move at all. is there probably the accerelometer sensor is failure? i try turn off always on display and turn on raise to wake, and the display is notlight up unless i tap the screen.

So it doesn't increment when you shake it, and it doesn't move the activity circle when you are wearing it normally, without running workout? The green circle doesn't move unless you are doing pretty active exercise, but the red and blue should move if you are just wearing the watch and walking around normally.

If not, there could be something wrong with the watch -- is there any Apple Store or authorized service dealer you can take it to?

Check that Wrist Detection is turned on and that, if passcode is enabled, you are unlocking your watch after placing it on your wrist
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wrist Detection - turn on.
On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - check that both Fitness Tracking and Health are enabled.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - turn on Fitness Tracking and Heart Rate.

go check at Apple Service Provider last saturday. she said 3 sensor spoil already. Heart rate, accelerometer and 1 more call aggro or something, not sure. Can't repair because out of warranty, 1 to 1 replacement cost the same as purchasing Apple Watch Series 7. Seems like i've been scam by the seller.

Wasn’t the seller your friend?? If it were me, the both of us would be sitting down while he gave me my money back. He had to of known there was an issue with the watch.
