New to Bowtie, need some help.

I'm currently using Bowtie because Coversutra isn't working 100% with Lion. I think I may stick with Bowtie because I like how you can get different themes. Anyways, for some reason, I can only use the default theme. Whenever I apply a different theme, the UI on my desktop disappears. Anyone ever experience this? if so, how'd you fix it?
