iOS New to Dev - Question

Hi all, I started to work on building a iphone app and i managed to get half way through it with xcode, my only issue is how do i get say a image to appear within my app, Is there a specific string of code needed ? I do apoligize if this question does not belong here.

The simplest way would be to use a UIImageView.
