For Family Sharing, are the people you share with required to reside in your home / area? (i.e. location based)

I'm interested in potentially sharing Apple TV+ & Apple Arcade only with a couple of friends....but I also want to maintain privacy with all the other areas of apple services, my own phone contents, etc..

Are other members of Family Sharing able to see or request the other options in family sharing?

No they’re not. You as the family organizer have the control.

Also, since it’s friends, turn off Purchase sharing. That way they won’t be able to charge things to your card.

There are separate towels for Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple Music as well. So they’ll have access to that stuff.
