Hello
As the title says, am new to Final Cut. I have installed the FC studio 2.
After many years using Premiere I have moved on...
I placed a clip on the timeline and on the work monitor I get a warning icon in yellow (an exclamation mark), much like we see on the roads, and when i reduced the monitor size by 25 or 12 %, i get a green tick...Why is that? I can't work with the monitor reduced at this size so whats the remedy?

Also, on the monitor I get a zebra lines(in red & green), like we see on on camera when there is too much light, but theses are around the shapes. Does this mean I have to tone down the light all together?

Thanks

You've got the Excess Luma setting on and it's telling you that your levels are above broadcast safety levels.

You probably hit Control-Z at some point. Go to View>Range Check>Excess Luma to verify that that's what you did (and do a search of the manual for Broadcast Safe Filter or Broadcast Safe to find out what is wrong and how to fix it)
