New to iPads, help deciding on a deal

Hi all,

This is my first tablet that I am looking for. After extensive research between androids vs ipads, I decided to go with a 16GB Wi Fi iPad after testing them out last night. I have found two deals to buy them:

1. Black Friday, this friday upcoming will probably have $40-50 dollars off the regular price (519$ here in Canada) as it was last year. Which would be around probably 480 (Note: this does not include taxes )

2. Found a used iPad selling for $470 with a smart cover. Used for approx 3 months.

Which one sounds like a better deal? Taking both sides of the view, Black Friday deal looks a little better in terms of resale; since it would have few months in advance for warranty and less months of usage if I decide to upgrade to an iPad 3. However, second one seems significantly cheaper considering it has a smart cover.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Nothing like a new device specially unboxing

A few months is not going to make a difference in terms of resale value as long as the used iPad is in good condition.

The Smart Cover alone is worth US$40 new.
