New to iPhone, help please.

When I first started using my phone I was able to talk on the phone and surf the web via Wi-Fi simultaneously. As of now, I can't really surf the web. Like will say they are finished loading when there is nothing there. Like I said, it's just started happening.

Also, ever since I updated it to 2.0 my battery is literally getting eating alive. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Turn off wifi and diff them back light. The battery in the 1st gen Iphone is horrible.

I have no idea about your other question. I'm a guy and multi tasking is not my strong suit.
