i just bought a iphone 6 plus...i entered the serial number on apple website and it showed iphone 6 plus but in setting it shows iphone 6s plus?
 
Where did you buy it, i.e., Apple, Bestbuy, eBay, Swappa?

Does the box and phone serial number match?
 
i bought it online..even if dont have a box buy why there is difference??is it possible that it shows 6plus on apple site for all the 6s plus?
 
My point is, if you bought it new, the box would say 6 (or 6s) and the serial numbers match.

There definitely seems to be some discrepancy.

no i bought it used??is there any chances that its a fake iphone?
 
Where does it show the model number in Settings? The S models have an S on the back of the phone. The model number is something like MKTX2LL/A if it is a 6s Plus. What model does it show under Settings, General , About?

thats what weired is...it is showing 6s plus in model...but then why serial number is valid?and at the back model no is A1524
 
If model says 6S Plus then you have a fake phone. The serial number is also fake. :(
