New to Jailbreaking

Hi everyone,

Im new to this site so wanted to post a new thread to save time and have some questions i wanted to ask regarding jailbreaking my 3GS version 4.2.1

I am using a 2010 macbook pro and have 2 profiles set up when i boot up.

One for the Ipad (that i dont want to jailbreak)
and another for the 3GS.

I have some questions.

If i jailbreak the iphone will this effect the Ipad in anyway?

If i jailbreak the iphone what will cause it to brick so i can avoid this?

What links can i use to start jailbreaking as a beginer?

I expect so many people have asked this but please forgive me for being a 'newbie'.

Start to read stickies at the main forum as well as Iclarified.com and you will learn all of the these. Once you start understand about jailbreaking and have any question/problem, then come back here to post it, people will happy to help you out. But for now, I don't think they will because you need to start reading first.

If it's to much trouble to do a little searching and reading then don't jailbreak. There is tons of info here. Also www.Iclarified.com tutorials.
