New to mac, color program problem

So I just got my first mac computer and let me say everything has been a synch to figure out, except I'm having trouble with choosing different font colors. I go to change it and i get the wheel of colors and the other options, but there is no OK button or anything at the bottom. This is probably a silly question but how do I pick my new color? Thanks.
