Hi everyone,

i am new to a Mac and i own a MBA 11inch.

I was trying to play some games recently such as Team Fortress 2 and noticed a long lag when i am panning the view. Am guessing the MBA is trying to loan textures, etc.

If i was on Windows, i would be probably trying to tweak some registry settings or downloading some new drivers etc.

In the world of mac, i am totally clueless. Is there anything i can do at all to improve performance? Or it is basically i get what i chose and nothing more or less?

Thanks!

You won't be able to do much about it other than reducing the graphics settings. The MBA is a poor choice for a gaming machine.

thanks for the reply.. i understand that.. however for windows pc, there is always some registry to tweak etc... just hoping to understand that for Macs, if there is really nothing can be done? you basically get what you buy?

ok thanks..

to you and everyone who knows.. dont mind help a mac noob here.. is there anything we can tweak at all for a mac?
