Hey all I just bought myself a brand new Macbook today. :apple: My first ever non windows computer
So far it has been freaking awesome and I'm sad I didn't switch earlier

Anyways I've downloaded a few programs and everything has gone well.
But one program (Frostwire which is similar to limewire) is downloading perfectly, but when I put the icon on my dock and execute the program. Some thing comes up on my desktop everytime and wont go away and It's rele rele bothering me. And everytime i drag it to my trash it just "ejects" (it's not a disk) it and then i open the program again and it does the same thing.
Does anyone know how i can make it so it won't open up on my desktop every freaking time?
Thanks so much

Yeah, don't use LimeWire or Frostwire.

Are you dragging the .dmg to the Dock? Yeah, that doesn't work. It's mounting itself, which is the disk image (dmg) that you're seeing. The thing you want is in there, but because of where you got it, I'd suggest not ever opening it.

Yeah I just got rid of that app.
It kept annoying me, It worked fine i just hated how it mounted itself EVERY TIME.
Thanks
