New to MAC! Only has WIn XP, no mac OS...

Okay so i got a macbook black 13 inch A1181

it has 1 gb ram
core 2 duo 2.1ghz

not mien but came with cd MAC OS X 10.5.6
so it had win xp and mac but had a lot of stuff on the mac partition. so when on it, i went to disk utility and clicked on the mac partitiona nd clicked erase...i insert the cd 10.5.6 and when ic lick language, english, the next thing it says CANNOT install on this computer...:/ so now i onyl have win xp..

what's wrong? sigh ty im new to mac so this pissing me off

Well, you did erase the Mac OS X partition, but is there still a free partition using the Mac OS Extended (HFS+) format to install Mac OS X onto?

Open Disk Utility and check for the Mac OS X partition you have erased.

Under my HD(149.1 GB fujitsu i have
-MAC HD Capacity122.9 GB
Avaliable 122.8 Gb
format : MAC OS extended(journaled)
ownered enabled: NO ?? what's this
this is where MAC OS was isntalled, until i deleted it...:S notice how has all the memory free
and 2nd one is windows
-disk0s3
format: windows NT file system (NTTS)
owners enabled: yes

MAC owners enabled is no and window sone is :S
