I just got my first Mac (actually still waiting for a 27" iMac to be delivered
)
and now I'm worried about the migration of my existing system to the new environment.
I currently own a Palm T|X, mainly used for the Calendar application (Datebk6), normally managed on WinXP using Palm Desktop and Hotsync.
I'd like to be able to sync the Palm T|X sync on the iMac, with iCal, eventually syncing it with Google Calendar too. The plan is to move, sooner or later, to an iPhone/iTouch having the old Calendar already integrated in iCal/Google Calendar.
Looking around here in the forums and on Google, my understanding is that Palm never updated Palm Desktop to Snow Leopard (but it should work) but iSync does not sync the Palm with iCal anymore.
Do you have any suggestion on the best migration path I should follow? I remember reading around about Mark/Space Missing Sync as a possible solution: should I try that solution (or any other) or should I bite the bullet and just start from scratch on the new system, maintaining two parallel calendars, one in iCal and the other one in Palm Desktop (syncing on the old Windows machine), waiting to move to a new smartphone?
Thanks for any suggestion
