here is the quick Specs:

* PowerPC 7400-450M (G4) processor with AltiVec Velocity Engine
* 1MB Backside Processing Cache for CPU
* 512 MB PC133 SDRAM,
* 120 GB (60GB HD for OS 9 and Apps, 60GB for Audio Data)
* Two FireWire, Two USB Ports, Sound In/Out, Ethernet

i guess it runs on OS 9
Do you think this is a good buy for $170?
Would it be slow if i record tracks and etc.?
and much would i spend if i want to upgrade ?

If it does EXACTLY what you need to do without requiring any upgrades
then buy it but do not put any more money intoit. Better to buy one that already
is exacly what you want. No modern software will work well on it so it
had better come with all the software you'll need.

For recording what you need is a good high end audio interface. These cost
more then the computer you are loking at.

You say you need it for recording but will you ever want to edit and mix
the files? f so you will want something a bit more high end that can
run modern software
