New to mac

I just bought a macbook pro 13' on a whim.

Do any of you experienced users have any tips for me in maximizing my mac experience? Haha.

There are a lot of things that are different, and I've been playing around with it.

I'm trying to find something similar to 'paint' on Windows, but no luck. I have CS5 Installed, but photoshop is confusing to learn....

As to learning Photoshop, there are a lot of free video podcasts available through iTunes - PhotoshopUser TV, Photoshop Killer Tips, Understanding Photoshop just to name a few.

As to learning the Mac, both the Apple website and iTunes has the "Find out How" videos that Apple made - highly recommend them for a noob (like me) that's just starting out, and especially switching from WinDoze.
