Hello

New Mac user ..

First i want to know what do you think of my choice(a1708) 13.3inch


2,3 GHz Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost 3,6 GHz) 64 MB edram
256 GB pcie-based ssd
8 GB 2133 MHz lpddr3-memory
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640
2 Thunderbolt 3-ports (usb-c)

How powerfull is it?

The second question is that on message app in mac i have synchroize with my iphone and i can send and recive message on macbook, but why cant i see the name and not numbers in there? some contacts are named but other are just number? what depends that on?..

in mac my whole icloud contact list is there with all numbers?

and where is the "Delete" button in mac? ..

Should i update to High Sierra?

It's about as powerful as a computer with those specs, guessing plenty powerful for you?

You see the name if it's a contact, and the number if it's not. Same way it works on the iPhone.

The delete button is in the same place on any keyboard, top right, above 'Return'.

Why wouldn't you update?

All numbers was not on icloud..i dont know why but what i did was to log in on icloud and remove everything and then sync again with iphone..


Everything works fine so i dont see a reason to update..

Dose Mac users use some antivirus? IF yes which one is recommended?

I use Avast antivrus and anti malware its free and does a good job with little to no impact on performance.
 
okk.. just installed avast :)
i also activated filevault..if i in some type want to sell my mac its more secure for my data inside ?
