Hi everyone,

Im a freelance automotive photographer who has been a PC guy my entire life. I recently built a Hackintosh, then after hours of playing in Snow Leopard I decided I liked OS X better than Windows.

I decided then that I also wanted to be more mobile since I travel for photography and that being confined to my desktop actually started making my editing less productive. So I decided to part out my desktop to help fun my Macbook Pro 15" 2.3ghz. I then added a 120GB OCZ Vertex 3 and Kingston 1600mhz ram.

Im loving it so far. Any cool programs anyone suggest? I have already got and used SuperDuper!, MS Office, and some other stuff.

no specific app i can think of off the top of my head, but being a college student i love iwork. iwork>office any day really. obviously i use VLC player for my movies, littlesnitch to protect my computer.

also i love ilife being a musician but yeah that's all i can really think of!

welcome to the mac world man :)

They're all very small apps, the only issue is with TotalFinder as its a paid app (but worth the price as you use it all the time). I can't see myself not using TotalFinder anymore. Tabbed browsing like Chrome absolutely rocks.
