40 & 150GB hard drives (Using Intech ATA Hi-Cap Driver since this Mac does not support large drives)
22x Dual Layer DVD-RW burner (replacement for the CDROM drive)
USB 2.0/Firewire 400 PCI Card
ATI Rage 128 Video card (secondary display)
Apple Pro Speakers


Now all I need is a SATA PCI controller card and the NVIDIA TwinView display card.

You know, you could even take out the zip drive and put another IDe drive in their and have 5 drives. Whoa!!!! craziness!!!!

Really though, seeing this makes me even happier with the deal that we made. Are you ever going to use your PowerBook anymore?? If not, you know someone who wants it!!!! (hint, hint, hint....ahem...HINT!!)

Please let us know what SATA controller you end up getting. I bought the SIL3512 card from Silicon Image and was unable to flash it. But I've heard the SIL3112 might work.

I'll keep you posted. I'm sticking with confirmed Mac cards though.

Unfortunately for me, these kinds of parts seem to be in high demand and limited supply!

I'm not paying $50-90 for a SATA card though!

Those Apple Pro speakers sounded great for their size.

Yeah, the speakers are awesome. As far as the GPU, I'm not really using the Mac for anything intensive so the impact should be minimal.

I am planning on replacing the main card though. I find it interesting that the ATI Rage 128 I dropped in there for the second monitor has a higher resolution.
