New to replace drive on my 2,1 MBP - anything i should know?

Blast, it's making an airplane sound spinning up. I'm assuming it is the hard drive as iStat doesn't show the regular fans freaking out. The noise stops when the account fully logs in. The fans and logic board are "new" as of a year ago,a nd it has very little use on it since then.

I can do this.... But is there anything i should know? Any type of drive to not buy? (SSD is not an option, I'm beyond poor)

I saw a 750gb on newegg.com for $69 - will that work?

Tell me this isn't hard....

Be grateful you do not have an iMac, as their hard drives are a major pain to replace.
