So I just started using split screen multitasking on my mac. Is there a way lock a program to one side permanently and then have the other change when I hit the icon in the launch bar at the bottom of the screen.
For instance I'm using goodnotes 5 and would like to have this permanently in the left hand side of the screen, i'm also using preview on the right hand to read a book in PDF form these are locked as one screen and when i hit either icon on the launch bar they both pop up exactly as I would expect.
However if i then want to search for something using safari i have to go to a new screen and lose goodnotes in the process. It feels like there should be an option to allow what i would like I just don't know how to set it up.
