I have not used an apple since apple2 in 1982, I hope all my questions are not too stupid, I want to duel boot. I bought Parallels 7 and Windows 7 since I did not have a copy of windows. I also want to paritition the drive. Do I install Parallels and Windows before paritioning? As you can ssee I am not used to the keyboard, Thanks for any help you might can give me.

You do NOT have to partition the drive to use parallels. Depending on what you need windows for, using it without partitioning and using boot camp will probably be just fine.

All you need to do is install parallels, and install windows by following the instructions on screen.
