Hi guys,

I really want to do my own video podcast (Or more realistically, make a few YouTube videos every week) On top of this, I would also like do a Ustream every once in a while. Now, I only have a point and shoot camera (The Lumix DMCLZ5 by Panasonic) I'm guessing this wouldn't work with Ustream (would it?) and if not, what camera (Under $200) would do it.

OK, I have a Logitech QuickCam PRO 900, would that work? (Also, any drivers for the Mac?)

Thanks - look forward to your replies

i use the built in camera on my macbook or a DV cam via firewire for ustream, the cool thing is i can cut between the 2 if they both connected, if your camera has DV out it should work, any USB web cam should work if it works on the mac, there are some 3rd party drives for cams that are windows only.

The Lumix DMCLZ5 looks like a stills camera, as far as o know these don't work as a web cam, ie stream live video into you mac.
