Hi guys, I'm starting a thing where I am going to record bow hunts of friends and create a "series". I am working on a 09 macbook pro, and have access to iLive and Adobe Design CS.

Can you suggest a camera that will be good for outdoors, good quality (hd?), zoom and good compatibility with my mac and processing to the net? or is that pretty much al camera's these days?

Looking at no more than 800$ but if I can stick around 500, that would be nice.

Here's one I've posted it just last week. So far its been excellent. I sat down a few hours and learned all I could about the camera. Really like the manual options.

Just purchased a JVC GZ-HD40 it will be here Friday.

The option to add-on accessories such as lenses, microphones and with the ability to monitor audio. Also there are a host of manual controls to fine tune the image of the camera.
