Hey, I have been using tubesock for years and only had a few problems, but they all where solved.
Well now something new is happening.
When I download a YouTube video , and save it on my Mac, it saves as a
"QuickTime Player Document" (spelled out exactly)
This is new.
Normally it converts as an "MPEG-4 Movie" (exact spelling)
I have a MacBook,
and this description of quicktime files can be found by 'right clicking' on the file (with a pc style mouse) or press 'ctrl' and click at same time.
Then in the drop down menu , select 'get info'.

So basically, what happened to MPEG-4 Movie?
Why is Tubesock converting it to a 'QuickTime Player Document'
I does still play but the file icon looks like a text file not the traditional "Q" framed in a film clip style of icon.

Anybody know what happened?

Anyone?

Does no one else have TubeSock? Try downloading a short clip from YouTube and let me know how it is working for you all. Anyone?
