I've been a happy Twitterrific customer on both Mac and iPhone for awhile now.

Recently, I've been fortunate to get an early peek at Kiwi from YourHead Software (of Rapidweaver plug-ins fame) - a new Mac Twitter client.

It's a sweet piece of work - especially for those with multiple Twitter accounts. Clean design, intuitive.

Yesterday, I got some invite codes to the early release which I'm posting here. If I get more, I'll post 'em too - but these are all I have right now.

Beta Site:
http://kiwi-app.net/beta-test/

Invitation Codes:
57849385
9874FBB5
3874B335
78642955
28643975

PS I'm not releated in any way to YourHead software except as a customer of their plug-ins and via this test.

Awesome, thank you! I've had my eye on this and now I can try it out. Thanks again!

So whats with the "12 days left"?

They want you to beta test for them and they only give you 12 days to use their software? No thanks....I'll continue to use Tweetie

So whats with the "12 days left"?

It's the number of days before that specific build of the beta software expires.

For example - when I was on .71 it had 6 days left; when it self-patched to .74 it reset the days count to 12.

So what happens after the beta test? Do you get some kind of incentive for providing feedback?

I can't figure out how to leave feedback on that site.... I've been playing with it for a half hour or so and I already have some feedback. Where do I go to leave it? Thanks!

Thanks. :)

ETA:

Not bad. I like the different themes.

I currently use Tweetie (which needs a desktop update) but I'm going to try and use Kiwi for a few days and see if I'm convinced to switch.

Here's 3 codes if anyone is interested.

Tweetie also seems to use less memory resources. I've been keeping my eye on Activity Monitor and Tweetie hovers around 35MB while Kiwi is consistently over 75MB. Anyone else seeing this? Not a huge amount, but less is more!

The more I use it, the more I really like it. I'm running Kiwi alongside Tweetie, and even though it does use a bit more memory, the UI is just prettier. It does lack a few features that Tweetie has, but not many. I do hate the icon, though!

So what's everyone thinking of this client? I really like it. I think the UI looks great, and I love the ability to change themes. I like that the window can be narrow and you can still see all tweets. With tweetie it seems I have to make the window wider to see everything.

I don't like the icon. I mean really don't like it. I also don't like that I can't see more than 12 tweets at a time. This very well could be user error, but I can't figure out how to expand this.

Anyway, just wondering how everyone else is getting along with it. It's also not readily apparent how to give this exact kind of feedback to the developer.
