New type of airport failure - MacbookPro

Hello guys, a friend of mine has a problem with his airport since the last Airport Extreme update (yesterday). He actually cant turn his airport on, and when he attempts to, the whole system will crash. He achieved to turn it on by deleting the "Airport" setting and creating a new one, but that only worked a few times, and its not a solution. Does anyone else had this problem?

Reinstall Mac OSX with those grey discs. First back up all your data!

Probably wait till apple releases a new update for airport. The update yesterday was a bust so they pulled it off their site. I'm having similar problems too.

What was the update yesterday? was it a software update?

It was an AirPort Extreme Update that was pulled shortly after its release.
