NEW unibody 17" MBP on craigslist for only $2600??

Hey guys

I am talking to this guy on craigslist who is selling a 2.53GHz 15" MBP, but he emailed me yesterday and told me that he is getting a few of the new unibody 17" MBP in the next couple weeks, and is asking for only $2600.

Immediately I told him to hold one for me, cause I would buy it from him the second he gets a hold of them, but now I am wondering if I should go through with it.

It is a local deal, so I know he will actually have the machines, but I am worried about it being stolen or something, and then the warranty wouldn't apply, and I can't get applecare.

So I am just wondering what you guys think about this? Do you think I should go through with it when he gets them?

$2600 is the educational price for the 17'' MBP, but I don't know how he would have more than one of them to sell at that price.

get the serial number, punch it into the apple website, see if it has applecare.
