It seems that apple is working hard to regain the ground it's been loosing in the education market. They've even gone so far as to donate about 50 iPod's to the Georgia college & state university, for use by students and professors alike.
It's good to see that more and more people out there are realising how much of a difference something as elementary as an mp3 player can make. This cannot be a bad thing.

As the professors made changes during the semester, all the students had to do was come in to the lab, plug in their iPods, and synch up, usually within a matter of seconds due to the speed of the firewire connection.
