New updates in cydia break phone!

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is an isolate case, but today cydia popped up notifications for some updates to the core libraries and such (unfortunately my phone is currently a brick, and I didn't think to write down what the error was.. I'm a bad person i know). The updates failed gloriously, and upon reboot the phone decided it rather enjoyed being off.

tl;dr: before you run the updates cydia/icy just put out, budget some restore time in case it goes south like mine did.

Yeah this is like the 3rd thread I saw within the last 24 hours about this. I got lucky and things went fine. The smartest thing to do is to wait a few days to be safe.

If you dont rely on an unlock then thats your only option.

I did an iTunes Restore, used RedSnow. Used Cydia (FULL Update) and downloaded Rock. Restored JB apps via Rock Backup...ugh pain in the ars but I'm still JB baby! Thanks!
