The new USB cable that ships with the 3G iPhone seems a bit hard to plug in and unplug compared to the cable that came with the first gen. Anyone else notice this?

YES! I find it almost way too tight. As an aside, I am also concerned about the ringer/vibrate switch. It seems a little on the loose cheap side. I am going to wait it out for a little bit to see how it improves/deteriorates.
