I started by adding another user account, and I think things got messed up when I tried to transfer files between the two accounts. I changed some permission settings on a user folder, and am now having issues with pretty much everything (iPhoto needs to repair a damaged library every time now)
Also, every time I modify the dock (on the affected account) it removes all the changes on a reboot.
I tried to do the repair permissions from the disk utility, but Apple says that it only fixes non-user files (or something along those lines) so that didn't seem to help :/
How can I fix this? Delete the account and start over? Is there any easy way to transfer files between user accounts? Or to access files from one account, while on the other?
Any help would be appreciated!
