Hi forum.

I am new user on a macbook pro. I have 3 questions.

1- i use the yahoo finance webpage, and for some reason the web page does not refresh automatically. I use my other windows machine at work and it updates automatically all day long.

2-I downloaded firefox, because safari seemed kinda slow. Here is my question... why does my desktop now always have slot box looking firefox icon showing? Why is it when i try to drag it to the trach can ..the trash can disappears?

3- How do you clean up a macpro? am i supposed to defrag? or any of the other maintenance things i did with a pc.

1. Did you have some kind of auto-refresher in your PC? Does it happen with all browsers? You can download an auto-refresh add-on for Firefox for example.

2. Right-click it and select eject. Sounds like it's a .dmg (i.e. virtual disk image).

3. Unless you have a problem, no.
