In the announcement video for the new Mac mini, at 3 minutes and 50 seconds, the presenter says “so you can use AI to instantly apply video effects and generate captions for a ton of posts with the upcoming version of Final Cut Pro”.

I haven’t been able to find any info on this online, including from Apple, so does anyone have a bit of extra info on it?

I’m guessing they’ll announce it toward the end of the week. I just bought FCP earlier this year so am hoping I can upgrade for free.

The FCP summit sponsored by Apple with all the big announcements is set for November 13–15 this year. It’s likely any new version will be shown there with their keynote.

hope to some new features as well. I am paid user as well. Pixelmator actually can add a lot to FCP too

I purchased the student bundle that included FCP back in May and am hoping the new upcoming version I can update to instead of them charging for a new version.
