I would be impressed if that was an official ad. It pokes fun at an annoying part of OS X without coming off as way too smug.

Assuming it is official, it does leave an opening for Apple to counter with PC surrounded by hourglasses.

Definitely not an official ad from Microsoft. The lighting is appalling, and they would have used a current generation imac.
But it is hilarious. Though you would have had to have used OSX to get the joke. And most people who have used OSX would laugh at that, then carry on using OSX because they have also used windows.
