New VLC for OS X: Can't increase video size like before?

hey guys, i just installed the new update of VLC and now i can't drag the corner of the video to the size i want. i can only select 'double size' etc under 'Video'. anyone know what i can do?

i like VLC because it plays everything, but i'm open to a new media player if it works well and i can create a playlist.

It's just you. I can drag-to-resize just fine.
