New watch S6 arriving and 14.5 beta

My 12 pro is running public beta 14.5 and I have a brand new series 6 watch arriving tomorrow.
Will it pair first time or do I have to backdate the phone to 14.4 first?

I was in the same spot some weeks ago, paired without any problems

I believe if the phone is on a newer software version than the watch you'll be fine.

Where you'll run into issues is if your watch is on a newer software version than your phone, which doesn't seem to be your situation so you should be good to go!
