Well, this made my day. I just ordered (my now dime not an ad) the waxed canvas version for my 12.9" iPad Pro. I'll post pics once the "Magic" stuff arrives. I don't know about you but I look forward to the day when we can all go out and about with our iPads. I miss my coffee buddies and great staff at my coffeeshop haunt!

Waterfield makes good stuff. and its made in USA. I hope the draconian shutdown doesn't kill their business.

Well, I will say Waterfield has had a big material evolution over the years. I still have my Waterfield "checkerboard mesh" bags, they are pristine even after hundreds of thousands of air miles. Their more recent stuff has gravitated to more natural materials, and I can't imagine it will look fresh in the long run. then again people love the broken-in look.

That broken in look is 100% the appeal of canvas/denim. All cases should be made of material that ages attractively imo.

I ordered for my 12.9” - curious when they say “when we return” means they wont be shipping anything until then?

EDIT: I see now that’s the case (*pun*) - glad to support them anyway. Not like we will need the bag to travel anytime soon.

i ordered it also in ballistic nylon. i have waxed canvas bags (including a sleeve) from them including the sleeve for the iPad Pro / Smart Keyboard combo... i want a bag with more pockets for more stuff but is still sleeve like so this fits the bill. only issue it could be MONTHS till we get this because they are closed in San Francisco and won't be back till the city reopens, at best mid to late May and then they have to deal with their backorder. i can wait because my sleeve mostly works with the MK (sticks up above the sleeve by a centimeter or so but is still covered by the flap.) i think the air caddy will be a better product for my use case (i travel half the week on planes, even now, and i'd like to move my AirPods pro and a USB power bank to this also.

My 12.9” 2018 iPad with the original Apple Keyboard Folio is a tight fit. I’m hoping the Apple Magic Keyboard (which I guess has larger dimensions all away around) will in fact fit in the Tech Folio.

Yep, just got the new keyboard today!!
