New WD 320GB installed--MB running cooler!

OK, this I didn't expect.

After swapping the factory 160 for a WD 320 "liberated" from its Passport enclosure, I fully anticipated, based on other anecdotal reports, to find the MB running a few degrees warmer. I'm actually noticing about a 10-15 degree Fahrenheit average drop per smcFanControl. Right now it's at 124-129 F.

WinClone, on the other hand, still has no problems slamming me right up to 190-192...

Glad to hear that as I've been thinking about replacing the HD in my MacBook with a WD 320 GB. And yep, WinClone like most imaging software will generate the calories.
