I just got a new MacBook, the one just out in early 2009. It has a mini-DVI output put it is not compatible with the mini-DVI to video adapter for some reason. I have that adapter and it did not work. I then looked online and found this:

That confirmed to me that it would not work. Does anyone know of any other solution? If I maybe I bought a mini-DVI to DVI and a DVI to video adapter would that work? Any help is appreciated.

Hopefully your tv could use another source than composite...

VGA maybe, for which a mini-dvi to vga adapter would be quite suited. Many LCD tv have this connector : this is usually the one with the best results as it allows one to use the native resolution of the screen

as a second choice, HDMI, with a dvi to hdmi adapter (and the mini-dvi to dvi adapter...)

if your tv has neither... then I guess you're stuck...
