I have the 2021 12.9” iPad Pro. If I set Display Zoom to “More Space,” and hold it next to my 13” MBA, it looks almost exactly the same if I compare apps like Messages, Firefox, Spotify, etc. Things are maybe a TINY bit smaller on the iPad. Like I have to set Firefox zoom to 110% and then it looks almost the same.

Then with the new windowing system in iPadOS 26, I’m wondering how similar does it feel to use the 13” iPad Pro and a 13” MBA? Is “More Space” still an option in iPadOS 26? Is it pretty necessary to use More Space mode if you want to use the windowing system with a mouse and actually have room to do stuff? How does clicking around, moving windows, highlighting text, etc feel in comparison to MacOS?

I've used the 12.9/13 inch iPad Pro for many years. Over the past couple years I would find myself using 'More Space' at times, but then at points felt like everything was a bit too small and I would always revert back.

With iPadOS 26, it feels much more natural using More Space with multiple free forming windows that don't snap to grid. Definitely feels more Mac-like than before.
