Hi,

I am a new mac user (latest macbook pro 13) and I am experiencing some problems when opening downloaded files automatically from the browser. They open with the associated application but the window does not get focus and it opens in the background (below the browser window). It happens both with google chrome and firefox and, to a lesser extent, with safari.

The steps to reproduce the problem are:

- Open google chrome / firefox
- Download any file (pdf, png, doc)
- Click on the download to open it with the associated application
- The opened application window does not get focus and opens in the background. So if the browser window is big enough you don't see it ... :-(

The funny thing is that if you close the opened application window and try again it opens fine and gets the focus on the foreground. You have to close chrome / firefox to get the problem again.

Safari is also not working correctly but to a lesser extend, pdf seems to work but downloaded images (png, jpg) get the same problem... :-(

I haven't been able to find any reference to this problem in the internet (I guess it is difficult to find). So ... you get the same behavior? Is there a solution?

Many thanks,
