I booted up into Windows after a long day of work to do a little gaming.

I received a message giving me a 2 updates that had to do with the touch bar and the Magic Mouse, which both apply to me.

I installed them and lo and behold the mouse stops responding. When I open the bluetooth mouse control panel it started working again because it's "discovered". When I close the control panel it stops working again.

I had to give up cause I basically don't have a mouse when I use Windows now. Any way to undo the updates? They were both claiming to fix problems I wasn't experiencing... :(

In Windows, right-click Start, click "Programs and Features". Click "View Installed Updates" on the left.

You can sort the updates by installation date by clicking on the "Installed On" column. Right-click each update and click Uninstall.

I booted Windows and today it works fine. I guess it just needed a restart.

If something is failing to work properly from an update, always reboot. It may need to update locked files and that goes for any OS.

Glad it's working!
