The brand new version of the Yahoo homepage copies the iPhone Apps format.
And I don't think it works for the Yahoo homepage. I hope they bring the old Yahoo homepage back.

I wouldn't say they're using the apps format. It's a pretty standard way of listing contents. Goes back to 1995 :)

im surprised you didnt suggest apple should sue yahoo, that would have been par for the course.

i don't know where you have been but my relatives use yahoo, and those have always had icons ( general layout of the page may have changed but the yahoo page always use to have icons associated with the different categories :p )

Umm, no they didn't. It doesn't look like an iPhone app, and as the other poster mentioned, this is not a new format for yahoo.
