New Years Countdown ideas?

I'm trying to think of a cool way to setup a countdown on my TV during my New Years Eve party... I'd rather not just have the ball drop on. It would be awesome to have a visualizer synced to the music with a countdown on top, or even just simple #'s counting down on the screen would be great. I'd love to do it through my 1st gen AppleTV, but could do something through a Mac Mini as well.

Any ideas???

Yeah, have the TV on with the ball dropping. That's what people want to see.

Haha! Thanks for the idea -but just wanted something a little different on through the night so people don't just sit around the TV.
