I'm going to NYC for the billionth time and sad to say I've not decided what the best Italian place is. I want to go somewhere nice for my birthday, which is when I'll be there. Any ideas, anyone?

evoluzione said:personally i reckon the best Italian restaurant in NYC is actually in Queens, an area called Ridgewood. now it's been about 4-5 years since I've been and I really cannot remember the name of it, Tony's or something typically NY/Italian. real good food, and very cheap too. I believe I actually saw it fairly recently (2-3yrs?) in Time Out NY as one of the best Italian places to eat. Should be easy enough to find really.
