Hey folks,

Ive always been a big fan of Space Black, Ive had every series of Apple Watch, and they have all been Space Black. The only reason I got the Hermes Space Black was because Apple gave it to them exclusively. I completely bought in on the straps, the leather is incredible, and the Hermes watch faces were the big bonus!

I jumped in to try something different and picked up the Apple Watch SS Silver with the Fauve Barenia Straps with Deployment to change things up. I am blown away by the quality of the straps, and have been really happy with the Silver finish. Uploaded the review last night, I will post more about it soon.

Thanks for the review. I purchased the same strap direct from Hermes.com and love it so far. I was only interested in the Fauve color for the patina. I think when the strap is due for a replacement, ill get the standard buckle and swap the deployment.

Happy to do it! I only wish they would offer the deployment along with other strap options on Space black as well.

Even better, just offer the deployment as a $200 separate piece also in space black.

I thought about buying a deployment off Ebay until I realized the pin buckle is permanently attached. I think they sew around it.

I think it can be unscrewed. I’ve seen it somewhere like that.
