As of right now I still have my PBG4; however, as soon as I get closer to starting my next round of school (ha- you think you are done after undergraduate) I am going to get a new MBP. Now, I am planning on running an external monitor on this comp, and I had a few questions. First, I am getting a 32" HD LCD, and from what I have read, as far as watching TV, there is no difference from a 720p vs. 1080p. Mostly because it isn't broadcast at 1080p, but I have also read that on such a small screen size there is negligible difference, anyone confirm/deny this? Also, regardless of how TV looks, a 720p TV set will only give me 1366x768 whereas a 1080p set will give me 1960x1080; therefore, increasing my computer monitor realestate by quite a bit, right? That seems to make sense to me, but before I spend a big chunk of change buying a TV, I just want to make sure I didn't overlook anything. My plan is to use DVI-HDMI to use the TV as a monitor. So to sum up, as far as watching TV, 720p vs. 1080p doesn't make a significant difference, but as far as a computer monitor it does, because of the extra screen space...

Also, if anyone knows, can I run a 1080p on my powerbook G4 1.5 GHz with a 128MB ATI Radeon 9700?

Thanks,
